Grand Rapids Preparatory Accellerated Academy

The Grand Rapids Preparatory Accelerated Academy will combine the ideas of accelerated college degrees and five-year high schools. The Academy will be paid for by the students like a charter schools, but without the uniforms. They will take the normal four years of high school, the normal four core classes. That fifth year of high school will prepare students for college. Also, the amount of credits they will earn will be enough to gain their Associate’s degree. The Academy will be connected to Grand Valley State University, so students can take some of their classes at the high school as well as the campus at GVSU.
